Kailash is a friend of mine from the fountain pen group. This is actually a commissioned piece.
I do enjoy painting. It calms me. I love it when everything comes together. I love the challenges that goes with each portrait and building up colors to make each image come alive.
Somehow photos have a way of making the images look flat. This is why I am adding a close up image of the painting to show the layers of color that went into it.
