I guess tragedies are a perfect motivator. My father-in-law died last Monday. We were looking for a pic of him to be placed beside his ashes. I realized that we never really took a high resolution pic of him. Rather, I was never able to take a good pic of him while he lived [something I plan to change from hereon].

Then it struck me this morning. I painted for people. I might as well paint for my family. So here it is.

As for me, I think I just found a reason to keep taking pics of the people around me. I would want to take pics of them while they are alive, enjoying [or complaining about] life as it turns. That way we can all look back and have common memories to share.
