Cooking tip: When cooking Sinigang sa Salmon, lightly fry the salmon belly before putting it in the broth. Also, make sure that the water is boiling before putting in the salmon. It reduces the "lansa". Still want to make sure that there`s no "lansa`? Add a knob of ginger. For some strange reason, this only works on salmon and not on other fishes.
So simple and yet so good. Lightly fry garlic in oil. Add edamame, chili flakes, and salt. Toss and mix for 3 - 5 mins in high heat and you`re done.
I added some homemade chili-garlic on my end.
That is if you can still remember.

Didn`t feel like cooking so we decided to eat out. @gianettopizzeria never fails to satisfy. It was difficult to choose what pizza to get since we`ve tasted most of the pizzas in their menu and we loved them all. You truly can`t go wrong with their line up.
Since it’s raining, Angela decided to cook Nilagang Pork (Boiled Pork Soup).
I told her we haven`t eaten Nilagang Pork (Boiled Pork Soup) for almost a decade. We always did Nilaga with either beef or pork AND beef [Billie taught me this one - boiling pork and beef together made the broth tastier].
Ok. I want this in my house!
Milkfish [bangus] simmered for more than 10 hours using a recipe by @simpolph -- I can`t describe how delicious it is. Next time will try to use tamban.
Tried something different today, flame-grilled these steaks (without tripping the smoke alarm too). We’re having Fajitas for lunch.

I dreamt of you today. In that dream we were in a theater. It felt like we haven`t seen each other for years. When I saw you, I ran to you and hugged you. It felt good.
I love quiet mornings. You wake up and your only problem would be - do I eat breakfast now or later? Do I want to read the whole day or watch a KDrama on Netflix? Do I want to get out of bed or go back to sleep? Yes, I am savoring the goodness in my life. When the silence isn`t empty, just full of answers waiting to be uttered.
When silence no longer feels empty, that’s when I realized I stopped grieving and I’m healing quite well. Still grateful that I have such moments to enjoy.

I really love this view. One of my wishes is to live in a condo with a view of the cityscape. Who needs TV when you have this beauty before you? Of course that means not being able to open the windows. The city smog can be unbearable during rush hours.
